The dance studio is available to perform for your events. Our decades of expertise ensure our performances are professional and exceed expectations. We’ll work with you to prepare a show that fits your specific needs and timing. For special occasions, we will produce a commemorative CD to keep your memories special.
A few of the many recent performances have been: Air Tahiti Nui, Pacific Nation Exhibition (PNE), Kitsilano Showboat, Arts in Action, May is Art Month (Capilano Mall), Barclay Manor Mansion Luau, Culture Days Summer: Lynn Valley Village and Parkgate Plaza, Canada wide autumn Culture Cram, Hospitals, Seniors homes, Canada Day events, Caribbean Days at Waterfront Park, Greek Festival, and performances at Centennial Theatre (North Vancouver), Kay Meek Theatre (West Vancouver), Shadbolt Theatre (Burnaby) plus many other public and private functions.
In previous years, the hālau has held a luau, with proceeds to local charities, donating thousands of hours of their time and resources. In the annual summer celebration, the Spirit of the South Seas has hosted an outdoor Luau, in a secluded treed setting, with a sumptuous buffet including traditional kalua roast, lau lau’s, lomi lomi salmon, poi, poke chicken long rice, haupia & more, surrounded by flickering tiki torches.

Our dancers have consistently won 1st, 2nd and 3rd place each year, including a child in our group recognized for a top overall award.
